"When Worlds Collide -chapter 11- No Need for a
Victor"

Hello. I would like to say that I don’t own any of
the Tenchi Muyo characters. Also I’m not making money
in anyway from writing this. So please don’t sue me,
I don’t have much money as it is.
Now that I got that out of the way, I would like say
that if you haven’t read any of the other chapters
stop here and go read the first ten chapters. If you
already have, then please read on.

When Worlds Collide –Chapter 10- No Need for A Victor

The winds blew heavily, the sky was clouded black, the
landscape bore that of a storm approaching. But it
was a different type of storm on the horizon, one that
wasn’t natural for the earth. This storm was one of
pure destruction, one that when it’s full furry was
released the earth would be completely destroyed.
The center of this storm was located one hundred and
fifty feet above the Masaki residence. The being
generating all of this power was surrounded in a field
of white energy around him.
The earth’s only hope against this storm was a high
school student by the name of Tenchi Masaki. Tenchi
watched Damen continue his attack. Unsure if he’d be
able to stop such a force from destroying the earth.

Damen, feeling that the time was finally right, thrust
his hands before him. “GATA GUN. . .FIRE!!”

A blinding beam of white energy that was twice the
size of Damen shot forth toward the earth. However,
Tenchi was standing in the path of the beam, hoping to
be able to stop it. Ayeka, Washu, even Azaka and
Kamidake looked on in fear of what was steadily
approaching the earth.
Tenchi raised the Light Hawk sword above his head and
yelled as loud as his lungs would allow. A field of
energy surrounded Tenchi and a similar beam of energy
shot back towards Damen’s beam. The two powers
connected with each other, sending an immense
shockwave across the countryside.
Ayeka and the still unconscious Ryoko were barely
being shielded by the shockwave of the two energies.
Washu however, was unable to continue watching what
was going on due to the high winds that were hitting
her body. Turning her back to the wind she opened the
subspace portal and seeing that she would be of no
help to Tenchi or the others, she retreated back into
her lab to help Brian.
Damen was amazed at the power the young boy had
concealed inside of him, his power seemed to be as
strong as his. Perhaps maybe more powerful.

* How can this be? He’s just a boy still, and yet he
has such a high power. Where did he get such energy?
*

Damen was stumped on how he was able to counter his
attack like this. Damen could keep pressing the
attack for a couple of minutes, so he was going to
wait for Tenchi to tire down first. Tenchi was
feeling calm during his high-powered standoff with the
sinister sayajin. He was almost surprised at how calm
and relaxed he felt. Although he knew that he wasn’t
invincible, at least he didn’t think that he was, he
knew in his mind that he and the others could all die.

Damen increased his energy output into his beam,
intensifying it, intending on overpowering the young
boys blast. He was determined in destroying the
planet, no matter what the costs.
The surrounding environment was feeling the force of
the two fighters. The clouds were racing across the
sky, energy was raging around in the air in the form
of lightning. To any normal human on earth, one would
begin to think that the world was coming to an end.
Ironically they would be right, but Tenchi Masaki was
the hope for millions of lives.

“Princess you should seek shelter elsewhere.” Kamidake
advised.

“Yes, it is not safe here, we are using almost all of
our energy to keep you from being blown away by these
powerful winds.” Azaka added.

“There is no place for me to be safe.” She quietly
answered. “Besides I won’t leave lord Tenchi here
alone.” She turns her head down to the still
unconscious Ryoko. “I know that if miss Ryoko were
awake she would be fighting along side lord Tenchi. I
also understand that like me, she would not wish to
leave lord Tenchi alone. We stay here.” She
commanded her guardians.

“Very well then princess Ayeka.” Kamidake confirmed.

Back at the Masaki house. . .

“Hurry up Sasami, I don’t know if this house can take
all of this. I sure hope Tenchi and the others are
ok.” He stated reaching Washu’s lab door.

“I’m coming honorable father. They’ll be ok.
Tenchi’s with them, they’ll be fine.” She reassured
Noboyuki.

* I thought the parent was supposted to be the one
reassuring the young child, not the other way around.
* Noboyuki pondered to himself as they opened the
door and stepped through.

Outside of Washu’s lab, the high powered standoff
continued to cause havoc. Damen’s attack seemed to be
gaining the upper hand; his beam slowly started
pushing Tenchi’s beam back. Tenchi started feeling
tired from standing off with Damen in this
catastrophic showdown.

* Oh man, I didn’t think that it could end like this.
I have to. . .keep this up.*

Damen saw that he was gaining the upper hand and his
confidence of victory was returning to him. It
appeared that after all his hard efforts he was
finally going to defeat these people who caused him so
much trouble.

“EHAHAHAHAHA!! I WIN! YOU ALL DIE!!!!” Damen
yelled, seeming to be completely obsessed with
destroying everyone.

Ayeka was watching the fight when Ryoko suddenly
started moving. She appeared to be dreaming and Ayeka
hoped that she could now wake up.

“Ryoko wake up, lord Tenchi needs your help now!”

“Tenchi. . .” Ryoko softly spoke.

“Ryoko get up! Tenchi will die if you don’t wake up
NOW!!”

Ryoko’s hand came up and pushed Ayeka off of Ryoko’s
body. “Darn it Ayeka, I was just dreaming of me and
my Tenchi.” She informed sitting up. “And I was this
close, THIS close to. . .” She paused to look around
seeing the darkened sky and the lightning shooting
about.

“What’s going on?” The pirate questioned.

Ayeka almost face-vaulted. “You mean you’ve forgotten
what’s been going on?!”

Ryoko looked around and saw Tenchi and Damen in their
standoff with one another. “Oh yeah, that’s right.
The planets in danger and we’re fighting an
unstoppable evil, right?”

Ayeka face-vaults.

“Wow, for a minute there I though I dreamt the whole
thing.”

“Well it’s not a dream, HELP TENCHI!!!”

Ryoko took another look at Tenchi and noticed the
situation more. “Tenchi.” She said phasing out.

* His beams nearly on top of me, I’ve got to end this
now. *

Tenchi had hoped that Damen would give up, so that he
would not have to kill him. He could have overpowered
the sayajin anytime he wanted too; unfortunately Damen
has left him with no choice but to kill him.
Damen felt that he couldn’t last for much longer.
Soon he would be pouring the last of his energy into
the attack and would die in the process. He saw that
his beam was nearly touching the boy; at last he would
achieve victory from such overwhelming odds. He
couldn’t conceive of a more glorious death, taking out
a whole planet with him. The thought of this brought
a smile to his face.
Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of
movement to his left. He turned his head to see
what it was. His eyes widened in shock, he saw a red
energy sword heading toward him. The carrier of this
sword was a beautiful woman with cyan hair, and a look
of fury written upon her face in which Damen only saw
in people who fought him to their last breath.

* Eeegghh, just my luck, if I do something to smack
her away I’ll loose my foothold in this fight. If I
don’t do something she’ll be able to easily kill me.
Alright then little girl, come racing to your death.
*

Ryoko sped toward the sayajin, sword burning a
brilliant red, highlighting the right side of her
body, casting an eerie shadow onto the left. She
appeared to be the demon from the legend that
Katsuhito told Tenchi numerous times. She didn’t care
if he was more powerful than she was, she didn’t care
if he easily kills her in her attack onto him. She
cared for Tenchi, she told him once that she would be
willing to die for him and she was willing to prove it
now.
Damen extended his left hand out toward Ryoko, the
right feeding power into the blast that he was
fighting Tenchi with. He was lined up in the shot to
take out Ryoko; he took notice that she didn’t show
any fear in seeing this. He fired a white blast
toward her, Ryoko still racing toward Damen, heading
straight toward his blast. Her form was no longer
highlighted by the energy from her sword; her entire
form was now visible from Damen’s energy beam.
At the last possible second, Ryoko teleports to the
left of the beams path. The beam passes by her by
mere inches. She brings her sword back, awaiting the
moment in which she can strike.
Damen sees that she dodged his attack, brings his
hand back toward his body, fist clenched hard waiting
for her to come within range. Ryoko flies at an angle
to him, she swings her sword as hard as her arm is
able to. Damen kicks Ryoko hard in the stomach,
causing her body to turn about, he pulls his arm back
to strike her back down into the earth. Ryoko spins
around and swings her sword, as Damen’s hand connects
with her face.
Ryoko falls down most of the way and flips herself
back over in time for her feet to become imbedded into
the ground. A smile is on her face when she lands
back onto the earth. She heard what she wanted when
she was falling back from Damen’s punch. A scream of
pain.
Damen clenched his arm, Ryoko managed to slice most
of his left arm off. All that was left was a bloody
stub where his arm used to be. Suddenly time seemed
to pause for Damen, a second seemed to pass for a
minute.

*Aaaaahhhh, my arm, that slut took my arm!! Ohh no,
I’m clenching my arm, which means. . . . *
Damen suddenly realized that he was no longer in the
standoff with his energy blast to destroy the planet.
He looked back down toward the young man and saw that
his energy beam was headed for him. At the end of the
beam he saw something that evil who has messed with
the inhabitants of this house before have rarely seen.
He saw the wings of the light hawk spinning inside of
the beam headed toward him.

“NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Damen no longer had any energy to attack him with and
he had no way of moving out of the way from the beam.
All he could do was watch it come to him. The white
energy engulfed him, he felt the intense burning of
the light. All he could do was scream from the pain
that shot from all parts of his body to his brain.
Everyone else could barley see Damen’s form inside of
the beam. Then the out line of his form vanished
inside of the blinding energy from Tenchi’s assault
upon him. The remainder of Tenchi’s attack shot off
into the blackness of space, causing no harm to
anything else.
With Tenchi’s attack dispersed, the sky slowly turned
back to late afternoon. The lightning had ceased and
Damen was nowhere to be seen. The light hawk battle
suit disappeared from Tenchi, revealing the normal
earth clothing that he wore before the battle started.

Ryoko appeared behind him and bear hugs him from
behind. “Ohh Tenchi you did it. Way to go. Yeah!”

She releases her hold on him and turns him around and
looks at him face to face. A slight grin curls up on
her left cheek. “And you saved the damsel in
distress, I think that calls for a thank you kiss.”
She said in her seductive voice.

“Uuhh, Ryoko.”

“Sssssshhhh now Tenchi, you deserve it.” She gently,
but firmly holds his head in her hands and lines him
up for a kiss.

A rock hits the back of Ryoko’s head. “Oooww.” She
responded.

“Get you hands off of lord Tenchi, he and I are meant
to be together.”

“Says you. Tenchi saved my life and I was going to
give myself to him in order to thank him and show my
love for him.” She finished sticking her tongue at
Ayeka.

Ayeka clenches her fists at her side and visibly
shakes with anger.

“Hhmmmmm, common Tenchi show me that you feel the same
for me.” Ryoko said, going for the kiss again.

“oowww, ow ow ow ow ow.” Ryoko cries due to Ayeka’s
tugging at the bangs of her hair.

“I said let go of him.”

“Alright that’s it Ayeka.” Ryoko responded by
grabbing and pulling Ayeka’s hair.

“OW.”

“OW.”

“OW.”

“OW.”

Both girls had the other in a hair pulling tug of war.

“Hey common you too, cut it out.” Tenchi asked trying
to break up their skirmish with each other.

“Common, we have to check up back at the house to see
if the others are alright.”

Hearing Tenchi’s suggestion snapped Ayeka’s memory
back to the well being of her little sister.

“Oh my goodness, I nearly forgot about Sasami.”

“Hey, I’m sure she’s ok, the house didn’t take any
damage, unfortunately I can’t say the same for the
rest of the scenery.” Ryoko pointed out.

Ryoko made a good point, in the fight a lot of forest
was taken out by Ryoko’s attack. A couple of branches
were still burning or smoking from the battle. A lot
of it was a charred wasteland. There were also a
couple of craters in the mountains, due to missed
energy shots. It was a miracle that the house
remained unscathed.
Tenchi, Ayeka, and Ryoko quickly made their way back
down to the house to insure that the others were
alright. They stumbled into the front door looking
around to see if they could spot Sasami or Noboyuki.
They saw neither one.

“Sasami, Dad!” Tenchi yelled out.

“Maybe their in the lab with Washu.” Ayeka suggested.

Ayeka opens the door leading to Washu’s lab and all
three enter the lab. Entering the lab, they spot
Noboyuki and Sasami sitting together near a curtained
area. The trio rush over to the others to make sure
that they are alright. Within a couple of feet the
trio stand waiting for the other two’s reaction.
Sasami looked at her sister, her eyes appearing like
they were going to burst from so much water in them,
rushes over to her sister.

“Uuuuuhuhuhu, Ayeka. . .” Sasami murmurs out running
to her sister, tears streaming down her face. She
plants her face down into Ayeka’s kimono to shed more
tears. Ayeka instinctively raps her arms around her
little sister and tries to calm her down.

“It’s alright Sasami, I’m fine, it’s over now.”

Sasami just cries louder, muffled by her sisters
kimono.

“That’s not why she’s upset.” Noboyuki spoke, staring
off almost in a trance.

Tenchi was about to inquire on what was wrong, when
he noticed Washu come out from behind the small
curtained area. She was in her child form; her head
was slightly down cast, her arms holding herself, as
if someone larger than the child form was comforting
her.

“Washu. . .?” Tenchi asked.

Washu didn’t reply, she cast her head down and closed
her eyes, a tear slid down each of her cheeks. As if
she had communicated with each of the three
telepathically, they each understood the sour mood the
others were in. Another one of their colleges has
past on from the fight.
Ayeka rested her head on top of Sasami’s head, gently
rocking her back and forth to comfort the little one.
She shed a tear for the one that had helped their
large family.

* This is my fault, I should have done more to help
Brian out. I should have seen Damen’s sneaky attack a
mile away. * Ryoko thought to herself.

Ryoko started making her way to the curtain to pay her
respects to such a valiant warrior. She stopped when
she was beside Washu and she saw the pain that Washu
was trying to hide from everyone else. She could see
that Washu was hurt from Brian’s passing. She thought
that she was always playing tricks on Brian just to be
mischievous, but now she saw that she actually had
some feelings for him. She felt she had to say
something to Washu, before paying her respects to
Brian.

“Mom . . .are you going to be ok?” Ryoko spoke softly
to her creator.

Washu’s eyes widened in surprise at Ryoko’s words.
She had always wanted Ryoko to acknowledge her as her
mother. The others were surprised at Ryoko’s choice
of words as well. Washu’s eyes teared up more, she
felt she couldn’t decide whether to keep the tears
from coming or let them flow. Until finally she just
let it all go.
Washu cups her hands over her nose and mouth and lets
the tears run freely down her face. Ryoko kneels down
to Washu’s height and hugs her creator.

“Oh Ryoko. . .<Sniff>. . .I’ve always wanted to hear
you call me mom.” The scientist told her while
attempting to dry her tear soaked face.

“I’m so sorry about Brian. I feel that I let this
happen, I should have seen Damen’s attack coming.”

“Ryoko. .It’s not your fault; he knew he was risking
his life. In fact he was expecting that he would be
killed in the fight.”

“Warriors like him know to expect to die in a battle.
Even I know that I could be killed in a battle, but I
have to expect that.”

“<Sniff> No Ryoko” She pauses to wipe the tears from
her face. “I’m saying that he was hoping that only he
would be killed in the battle.”

Ryoko showed surprise in her expressions. “You mean he
wanted to die in the fight?”

Washu nods her head. “Well he was wanting that to be
as bad as it got. But Katsuhito seemed to believe
that Brian’s plan wasn’t going to work, so that’s why
he gave you all three of the gems back.”

Noboyuki’s head snapped up. “Hey speaking of your
grandfather Tenchi, where is he?”

Tenchi looks at his father, he then casts his head
down slightly. Noboyuki was able to read Tenchi’s
body language and walked over to Tenchi and put his
arm around his son.

“Well son, it looks like today is a very dark day.”

“I should have stopped him from doing that dad.”

“You didn’t know Tenchi, I tried to talk him out of
it, but he wouldn’t have anything to do with it.”
Ryoko informed.

Washu gazed about the room and saw the sad faces of
the remainder of the household. Sasami, who had
stopped crying as hard, was being rocked by Ayeka in
their hug. She continued to look at everyone and
notice that they all seemed to be on the verge of
crying their hearts out. Then, like a bolt of
lightning, an important memory came back to Washu.

“Hu..

Huhu

Huhuhu

Ehahahahahahahahaha.”

Everyone was focusing on the source of the laughter
and saw that it was Washu. Upon seeing her laughter
the first thought that came to everyone’s mind was the
sorrow was too much for her.

“Uh. . .Washu. . .are you. . . . .alright?” Her
daughter asked nervously.

“hehehehehe. . . . .I’m such an idiot.”

“Huh?” Everyone gasps simultaneously.

“I can’t believe I forgot about that, me the greatest
scientific genius of the universe, forgot.”

“Forgot what miss Washu?”

“Ha, look at us, were all on the verge of crying our
hearts out. Brian’s really going to be embarrassed
about this, Oohh I can see his face turning red right
now. Hahahaha.”

Ryoko leans over to Tenchi. “I’m afraid it looks like
she’s snapped.”

An iron anvil materializes on top of Ryoko’s head,
causing her to grit her teeth to straighten herself
back to a standing position.

“You should show some more respect to your mother
Ryoko. I’m still quite sane, thank you for having so
much faith in me.” Washu finishes looking at her
daughter. “I’m sure a lot of you are confused as to
what it is exactly that I’m talking about. So I’ll
explain it to you.”

School seats appear from the floor and a podium rises
up and Washu is dressed in her professors’ outfit.

“Now in your seats.” She orders clapping her hands
together.

Everyone walks over to a seat, Ryoko staggers around,
attempting to balance the anvil on her head and make
it to the seat. When everyone is seated a screen
appears behind Washu.

“Now, during the battle, Brian was seriously wounded
on the battlefield, as shown here.” A picture of
Damen hurting Brian appears on the large screen behind
her.

“Where did you get that picture from?” Ayeka
questions.

Three big books materialize on top of Ayeka’s head.
“Please raise your hand if you have a question.”

Ayeka carefully raises her hand, trying to balance the
books on her head. “Yes Ayeka.”

Ayeka rises from her seat. “Professor, may I ask
where you acquired that picture from?” She managed to
ask, balancing the books atop her head.

“Certainly, I have security cameras installed
everywhere, which are recording constantly.”

Noboyuki raises his hand. “Yes Noboyuki.”

“Excuse me but I was wondering, do you have any
security cameras installed in the women’s bath?”

Ayeka, Ryoko, and Washu all gave him a stern look.
“What, it was just a question?”

“Well since you did raise your hand and not just
blurted it out disturbing my class, then I’ll tell
you. Yes, there is a security camera in the bath.”

Ayeka and Ryoko’s eyes widened a bit, they wouldn’t be
able to feel that relaxed in the onsen again.

“Alright, now where was I. . .?”

“I believe you were talking about how Brian was
injured.” Noboyuki helped.

A bucket of water materialized on his head. “Thank
you Noboyuki, but next time RAISE your hand.” She
growled.

“Y. . yes. .mam.”

“When Brian was injured and everyone else distracted
onto the battle I proceeded to help him back to my lab
where I would be able to help him. But, he broke free
from my hold and placed his hands on my head.” The
screen flashed to when Brian placed his hands on her
head. “Suddenly I felt this surge of images flashing
in my head, at first I didn’t know what to make of
what he was trying to tell me. He could barely
breathe, so he downloaded some memory into my head.
Are you with me so far?”

Everyone nods, but Ryoko shakes her head no.

“Well, that’s good enough.”

“Anyway, would you all follow me please.” She
concluded and the screen vanishes and the desks
disappear as fast as they appeared. Washu changed her
clothing back to her usual outfit and started typing
on her holotop computer.

“Tenchi, Ryoko I’m going to need some muscles in order
to take Brian with us.”

“You want us to carry him, where?” Ryoko asks.

“We’re heading back up to the shrine.” Washu
announces finishing her work on the holotop. A portal
opens up beside the genius.

“Ok everyone through the portal.”

Everyone steps through the portal and walk out next
to the shrine office. Tenchi and Ryoko come through
last, Brian’s body slouched over both their shoulders.
The portal closes and everyone looks at Washu,
waiting for her to explain more.

“Miss Washu, what exactly are we doing?”

“Were going to help Brian and Katsuhito.”

Everyone looks more confused. “But Washu. . .their. .
.their. . .gone.” Ayeka finishes trying to keep from
crying more.

“Well, remember how I told you Brian planned on being
the only one to be killed, but Katsuhito had a plan to
give us an edge.”

“How?” Tenchi asked.

“Remember me mentioning that Brian downloaded a memory
into my mind. Well it was a memory of when Brian
first arrived, he came up to the shrine and talked
with Katsuhito alone. He told Katsuhito why he came
here and that he was planning on fighting them alone,
but Katsuhito showed him something. You see,
Katsuhito’s been here on earth for 700 years and that
gives someone time to learn of the history of the
planet. There was a myth from a long time ago, this
myth is about seven magical balls spread out over the
whole planet. The myth says that when all seven of
these balls are brought together, the person who
brings them together has the ability to summon forth
the eternal dragon. Which gives the balls their
unique name, Dragon Balls.”

“Dragon Balls? I’ve never heard of them?” Noboyuki
adds.

“Well as from what I gathered from his memory,
Katsuhito told him that it was nearly lost to time
around 300 years ago. So he eventually found all
seven.”

“So he found them, but what does this eternal dragon
do?”

“Well in the legend the dragon is capable to granting
one wish.” Washu explains holding up one finger.

“A wish.” Ryoko spurs out, catching her full
attention.

“Yes, it was said that the dragons power is capable of
bringing someone back to live, but only one year after
their death.”

“Well where are they?” Tenchi asked.

“Were else, his shrine office.” Washu said pointing
to the office.

“So what are we waiting for, let’s get the dragon
balls.”

“I’ll go and get them Ryoko.” Washu tells her
daughter.

Washu goes into the office and surveys the setting.

*Hmm, now let’s see, where was the spot where
Katsuhito hide the balls. *

She walks over to a spot in the corner of the office
and kneels down beside a rug. She reaches over and
rolls the rug up revealing the floorboards underneath.
She grabs a board and picks it up and lays it to the
side. Glancing in she sees a glimmer of gold from
down inside the hidden area. A smile comes to her
face.

“There you are.”

“Well, it looks like I might need some help getting
all of these out. Their bigger than I thought.”
Speaking to herself.

She picks up a dragon ball and heads out the door.
Sliding the door open everyone looks to see if Washu
had one of the magical balls. She stands in the
doorway allowing everyone to get a clear view of the
dragon ball. Sasami runs over to Washu to see the
Dragon Ball better.

“Wow, so that’s a Dragon Ball?”

Washu nods her head. “Yes, they’re bigger than what I
thought they’d be, so I’m going to need some help
bringing them out.”

“I’ll help you get them out little Washu.” Tenchi
volunteered.

“Alright, then we set them up over here, away from
anything else.”

Washu lays the Dragon Ball down a few yards away from
the shrine office in a small clearing. Within a
couple of trips all seven of the Dragon Balls are
together. After he sets them down, Tenchi takes a
couple of steps back to look at all seven of the
balls.

“Oohh look Tenchi their glowing.” Sasami points out.

“So little Washu, how are we supposed to summon the
dragon now.”

“Hmm, that’s a good question Tenchi, Katsuhito really
didn’t explain that to Brian, but I have an idea of
how to do so. However, before we summon the dragon
and wish the others back, we need to place a gem or
two of Ryoko’s back into the master key.”

“So Katsuhito can come back and not die again from old
age.” Ryoko concluded for her mother.

“Exactly.”

“So how do we place the gems back into the key?”

“That’s simple Tenchi, we just pray that the gems
return to the master key.”

“That’s all? I thought it’d be a little more
difficult than that.”

“It’s that easy Tenchi, now you just pray that you
receive two gems back to the Tenchi-ken.”

“We only need to take back one gem Ryoko, so you can
have two.”

“Hey, I can make due with one gem, besides one gem
makes me about even with a certain princess that I’m
going to be kicking around again.”

“Ahahahaha, I would very much like to see you try
Ryoko. I must admit, I have been wanting to punish
you for some time for some things you’ve been doing
around the house or shall I say lack thereof.” Ayeka
scoffed.

* It’s amazing. Those two are friends only in
fighting each other. * Washu thought to herself.

Tenchi raises the key up and bows his head down to
pray. Ryoko raises her hands extended out from her
body and begins to pray as well. Two gems from
Ryoko’s neck and right hand disappear and reappear in
the hilt of the Tenchi-ken. Ryoko opens her eyes and
sees that she’s back to possessing one gem.

“Now there should be energy being feed into Funaho.
So now we can wish the others back.” The red-haired
dynamo explained.

“Alright everyone stand back.”

Everyone took several steps back like Washu requested,
they all watched, waiting to see if their plan would
work.

Washu threw her hands out in front of her. “I call
upon the eternal dragon, come and grant my wish!”

The balls continued to glow the way they were when
they brought them together, they flashed like
Christmas lights. Tenchi had seen a Christmas tree
from a family originally from America, he remembered
that it was a few years ago, the balls glow recalled
that memory.
Then when everyone expected Washu to turn around and
say something, the balls glow grew brighter and no
longer flashed. Yellow lightning shot up from the
balls and raced into the sky. At the tip of the
yellow lightning appeared to have the shape of a
dragon’s head. The lightning seemed to be filling the
sky with twists and turns.
Finally the lightning head stopped and a dragon’s
body appeared where the lightning was. The dragon was
enormous; everyone noticed that the sky was black. It
was black as night, only there weren’t any stars, just
blackness. Everyone was captivated at the magnificent
sight of the eternal dragon; the head was facing down
toward them.

“You have awakened me from my sleep. Think hard now
and I will grant you two wishes.”

“Whaaa…Did he say two?” Washu asked surprised.

“Yes, I believe he did.” Noboyuki said.

“Uh, miss Washu, what are we supposed to ask it?”

“Hmm. . .I think I have an idea on how to word the
wish.”

Washu steps forward and looks up to the face of the
dragon. It possessed a very intimidating face and the
shear size of it was almost unbelievable. A thought
came to the scientists mind.

* Boy, would I love to just do some experimenting on
this guy. All the possibilities for experimenting
would be almost as vast as the universe. * The
thought of this brought a grin on her face.

“Eternal Dragon, I wish that all the people that the
two sayajins killed were alive again!”

The dragon’s red eyes squinted. “Your wish shall be
granted.”

The dragon lifts it’s head toward the sky, it’s eyes
glowing bright red. Several awes escape some of the
families mouth’s. Continuing to watch the dragon
proceed to grant their wish, Tenchi hoped it would
help his grandfather.

“Woah, there’s something you don’t see everyday!”

* That sounds like. . .* Sasami thought.

The younger princess turned around and saw Brian
looking up at the dragon. Brian’s eyes connect with
the young princesses and she runs toward him.

“Brian your alright!”

Everyone hears Sasami’s yell and turns around in time
to see Sasami cling herself onto Brian.

* Wow, that dragon works pretty fast. * Ryoko
thought to herself.

Everyone looks at Brian in wonder, his wounds were
gone, it just looked like someone ripped up his shirt.
Brian noticed everyone looking at him weirdly.

* What’s with them? * Brian thought to himself.

“What?” He asked.

“Do you not remember?” Sasami asked, looking up to
the resurrected sayajin.

“What happened, did I get knocked out or something?”

Brian feels a sharp pain on his forehead when a rock
hits it.

“Oww. .what was that all about?”

He looked to see that Washu was the one who threw the
rock. She looked angry for some reason, he became
nervous seeing that she was angry at him for some
reason.

“You big oaf you died on my medical table!” She
yelled.

“Well if I did, it’s not like I just said, “Hey let’s
see what the next dimension looks like.”.”

“AAGGHH! What bothers me most is you don’t seem to
even know how much I looooo….”

Washu froze, placing her hands over her mouth, she
couldn’t believe what she was about to just yell out
at him.

* What am I doing? I’m about to just scream out how
much I care for him. *

She was beginning to feel the stares from everyone
else, especially Brian. She noticed he had an almost
oblivious look on his face. She couldn’t tell if he
was in shock from what she was going to say, or if he
was that clueless about how she felt. She began to
try to think of something to change the conversation
quickly.

“Hey, look it’s Katsuhito!” Washu exclaimed pointing
her hand the direction off to the side.

Everyone turns their heads and sees the priest
walking over toward them. His spectacles reflecting
the golden light of the dragon, adding the effect of
his mysteriousness he clouds around himself.

* Wew, that was close. * Washu thought.

“Grandpa, your alright!”

“Hhmm, yes it appears the legend of the Dragon Balls
was true after all.” Katsuhito spoke while rubbing
his chin with his right hand.

“So isn’t the dragon supposed to disappear or
something now?” Brian asked Katsuhito.

“The dragon is still here, because it grants two
wishes.” Washu informed.

“Hmm, in the legend it said that it grants one wish,
perhaps someone forgot that it grants two wishes.”
Katsuhito implied.

“The first wish was that everyone the two sayajins
killed would come back to life. So everyone they’ve
killed are being brought back to life.”

“And the dragon appears to be granting the first wish
still, those two must have killed more people before
coming here.” Katsuhito concluded.

“Exactly.”

Off in the universe on several planets, who’s
civilizations where destroyed, found themselves coming
back to life in one piece. People looked themselves
over and found that they had survived, although they
would have to rebuild their cities, they somehow knew
they would be alright.
Back on earth a couple other people were being
brought back. Including a well known Martial Arts
master, known as Hurcule.

Some debris shifts and a small man raises his upper
body up off the ground. “W. . What happened? For a
minute there I thought we were all dead.”

Hurcule removes some debris off of himself. “Well you
would have been dead, but I was here to protect you.
I had to use one of my secret techniques in order to
save you.”

“Wow, a secret technique, what may I ask is this
technique called.”

“Eeehh, well if I told you, then it wouldn’t be a
secret now would it?” Hurcule quickly thought up.

“Haha, well then I guess not. Hurcule, this reporter
owes you his life.”

“Hey, it’s all in a days work for the greatest martial
arts champion of the world. YYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!”

A hand rises out of some debris. “Hey, can someone
help me out from under this?” The camera man asks.

Back at the shrine the dragon’s eyes dim down, it’s
head casts down facing the group of people who
summoned it there.

“Your first wish has been granted, now please make
your second wish, so I can return to my slumber.”

“Ok everyone, we need to come up with a second wish,
any ideas?” Washu asked turning toward the group.

Everyone visually begins to start thinking hard to
come up with another wish, no one expected the
surprise of the dragon granting two wishes.

* Hmm.. .maybe I can ask the dragon to make it to
where me and Tenchi are together forever, that would
be a great wish. * The ex-pirate though to herself.

 * Maybe I could wish that Lord Tenchi and I are
together, and then Ryoko would leave. Leaving me and
lord Tenchi together * Ayeka thought to herself

Both rivals looked at each other and smiled weirdly at
the other.

“How about we wish to make the landscape look like it
did before the fight?”

“Hey that’s a great idea Sasami.” Tenchi agreed.

“Alright then.” Washu turned to the dragon. “Eternal
Dragon I wish that the landscape would go back to the
way it was before the battle!”

“Very well, it shall be granted.”

The dragon’s eyes glowed a fiery red as it proceeded
to grant the wish. Tenchi looked around him and saw
the tree’s reappearing like they were before the day
began. The grass replaced the dirt and dust that
covered the ground from the fight. Tenchi felt
completely astonished at the wonderful sight of the
beautiful countryside that was healing itself up
before him.

“Your wish has been granted. Now I must bid thee
farewell.”

The dragon’s body turned back into the golden
lightning that it shone when it first appeared. The
form of the dragon shrunk down to the shape of the
seven dragon balls, floating in the middle of the sky.
Then in an instant the balls shot off into distant
directions, heading back to another resting place to
be found again one day.
Slowly the day came back to normal, it was evening
now, the battle had lasted for what felt like days to
the residents of the Masaki household. Finally after
a month of worry about the worst happening, they could
all relax and get back into their normal routine.

“Oh by the way, I would like to see everyone one at a
time in my lab. I’ll have to run some tests to see if
everyone is alright.”

“Uurgh.” Was the reply from the group as they were
walking their way back toward the house.

That’s it for this chapter. Thank you for reading
